Eruption in Iceland continious

Already two months have passed since eruption started in Iceland in Holuhraun. Right now it is hard to tell how long the eruption will last. It is not showing any signs of stopping. However the power of eruption is less than it was when it started, but that is normal.

At the moment the lava field covers are of 64,6 square kilometers in size. Eruption has produced the biggest lava flow in North Atlantic in centuries. The eruption has produced more lava since Laki eruption of 1783-1784.
