Daylight saving time

Iceland is one of five countries (Georgia, Belarus, Armenia, Russia and Iceland) which does not support DST (Daylight saving time). Since 1968 clocks in Iceland has never been set forward or backward. Clocks in Iceland has been set to "permanent summertime".

A new proposal has been offered by multiple parties, if passed, would set the Icelandic clock back by one hour in wintertime.
