A day trip from Akureyri we drive to Lake Myvatn one of the most scenic places in Iceland do to the landscape filled with craters and lava formations. From Akureyri we drive across the fjord with a photostop along the way. Then we head on to the Gođafoss (fall of the gods), a spectacular roundshaped waterfall. We stop there for 20 – 30 min. We then head back to Akureyri for a sightseeing tour of the town.
A day tour from Reykjavík we will head off to Thingvellir, stop there and take a short walk around the National Park. After that we take you to the Geysir geothermal area, from there we head off to the queen of Icelandic waterfalls and take a photostop. Then we will drive back to Reykjavík with a stop in Hveragerdi, the best known horticultural centre in Iceland.
We drive from Reykjavik through a geothermal active area. Drive over Hengilssvćđi and down to the power plant Nesjavallavirkjun. In this area the volcanic formations, cliffs, valleys of all sorts.All this area is geothermal active area, steams coming up from the ground all around.From there we drive to the National park of Thingvellir where the landscape is breathtaking.
